It’s not dumb to ask! Sometimes there are question you need to ask to get to the bottom the situation, that customers may think are “stupid” or unnecessary. But as we know, they must be asked or else time and money will be wasted. So, here are some tips for asking things simple, not stupid questions, to your customers. Read it.

Don’t lose twice. You think duct leakage isn’t all that important? Well, you’re wrong. Leaking ducts equal inefficient systems and less comfort for customers. Learn how to figure out what ducts are leaking and what you can do about it. Read it.

You’re probably already doing it. If you are performing home evaluations and performance improvements on homes, you are probably following the ACCA’s QH Standard already. ACCA’s Luis Escobar explains what this ANSI recognized standard is, and why it is THE home performance standard for our industry. Read it.

Jumping the gun. Recently, the EEOC issued new enforcement guidance under the Pregnancy Discrimination Act (PDA), it’s first since 1983. If you have pregnant employees, you need to make sure that you are not making yourself vulnerable to a lawsuit based on this new guidance. Read it.
